Battle of The Salons was created to give Hairstylist, Makeup Artist & Fashion Designers a platform to showcase their creativity to the world.
Local winners from cities across the nation will move onto the nationals in Las Vegas to compete for the prestigious title of America’s Top Salon.

Samuel Gutierrez
The Brains behind the whole thing. Founder of Battle of the Salons.
Executive Producer/Judge:
Robin Slonina
Owner of Skin City, Tv Producer and Judge on GSN's hit body painting competition Skin Wars. Robin is a Chicago native with a degree in Art. She has shown her work throughout museums in America & Europe and we're super excited to have her be part of the Battle of The Salons family.
Judge:
Laganja Estranja
Jay Jackson (Laganja Estranja) is a choreographer, drag queen and activist based out of Los Angeles who was a breakout star on Season 6 of Rupaul's Drag Race. Laganjas many choreography and performance credits include Miley Cyrus recent world tour and Christina Aguileras act on the American Music Awards.
Cinematographer:
Casey Fehr
Casey Fehr has been in the film Industry since 2009. He is in charge of all Battle of The Salons film making and side projects. He is a great asset to the team and brings a unique style of film making which makes all his videos come to life.
Show Host:
Daron "Snacks" Harris
Born and raised in St. Louis, MO. His calm, charismatic, fun personality is what lights up the stage. Snacks is no rookie at connecting with a crowd. He is a 10 year veteran in the radio industry as a morning show host for Energy 95.3. Battle of The Salons is excited to have Snacks on board to lead each show with humor and excitment. Snacks everyone!
Disc Jockey:
David "Quake" Gamez
Born and raised in San Antonio, Tx. David Gamez aka DJ Quake. Official Dj for Battle of The Salons & the San Antonio Spurs. Quake rocks any crowd with ease. He is simply one of the best behind turntables and we are excited to have him as part of the team.
